Much like last year when Taylor Swift descended on the Little Red Dot for The Eras Tour, 2025 is starting to look like a monster year for concerts in Singapore. If there’s anything we learned from Taylor, along with Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran who all played here last year, it’s that planning your concert strategy is absolutely essential. Know where you’re planning to eat and celebrate pre- or post-concert, as well as where to stay. Here, we highlight the best dining spots around Singapore’s most popular concert venues, plus amazing hotels to relax in.
National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium
The 55,000-capacity National Stadium has hosted music’s biggest names, and will be playing host to Lady Gaga’s upcoming gig in May. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned Indoor Stadium – where Babymonster performs, also in May – accommodates up to 12,000 spectators. Both are within walking distance of Stadium MRT station.
Before the show, head to the popular G7 Live Seafood Restaurant for claypot frog legs and cereal prawns; hawker stall Blackgoat for hearty burgers; or Coca Restaurant for a warm, Thai steamboat buffet.
If you’re into craft beer, grab a taxi post-concert and down a pint at The Tuckshop Assembly or Druggists. Fancy a cocktail? We recommend the grand Art Deco-style Atlas, the award-winning Nutmeg & Clove or the chill Tess Bar & Kitchen.
For a neighbouring stay, check into Andaz Singapore and explore Bugis or book a room at boutique hotel Heritage Collection on Boat Quay to soak in the surrounding nightlife vibes.
Sentosa and Siloso Beach
From Resorts World’s Ballroom and Convention Centre to the sandy shores of Siloso Beach, Sentosa is where artists like Itzy, Hacken Lee and Afrojack have performed. This April, popular Taiwanese rock duo from the nineties, Power Station will play at Resorts World. Sentosa is easily accessible by train to HarbourFront MRT station, followed by a stroll across the boardwalk or a monorail ride.
There are plenty of pre-show dining options, including wood-fire grilled meats at Panamericana, Mediterranean cuisine at Sol & Ora and the newly reopened Tanjong Beach Club. Within Resorts World Sentosa, try new Spanish spot Sugarra or casual Thai restaurant Soi Social.
Too buzzed to sleep? Party at 1-Altitude Coast, a breezy rooftop bar with stunning views and an infinity pool.
As for hotels, pool-loungers will love The Outpost Hotel Sentosa, a five-star, adults-only stay. If you want a spa getaway, choose Amara Sanctuary Sentosa, Capella Singapore or Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, which is home to live music bar Maduro.
The Star Performing Arts Centre
A 5,000-seat auditorium that Pentatonix and the Backstreet Boys have played at, The Star Theatre’s upcoming gigs include Norwegian duo M2M in May and pop star Jason Derulo in June. Located in The Star Vista, minutes away from Buona Vista MRT station, it’s surrounded by heaps of dining spots.
For Taiwanese food, try Monki’s braised pork rice and oyster mee sua. If you have time for a leisurely dinner, indulge in a seafood feast of crab, lobster and prawns at The Boiler or treat yourself to steak frites at Les Bouchons.
Want a cheeky nightcap? Have a beer at Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Café-Pub or take a short cab ride to the hip Holland Village for drinks and live music at the laid-back WalaWala Café Bar.
Those who prefer the quiet, tranquil neighbourhood of Buona Vista can stay at Park Avenue Rochester or Citadines Fusionopolis Singapore.
Capitol Theatre
Situated in central Singapore, near City Hall MRT station, this 977-seater offers a more intimate space. Capitol Theatre counts Ed Sheeran among its past performers, with upcoming shows by Neck Deep in May and Valley in June.
We recommend the nearby Raffles City for a plethora of good food, including popular pizzeria Casa Vostra (which may see long lines), Spanish tapas restaurant Movida Singapore and tempura eatery Tenjin.
Thanks to its location, there are loads of bars in the area for a post-concert drink. The Bar at 15 Stamford is right next door, while sky-high cocktail hangout Skai Bar sits across the road at the iconic Swissôtel. A 10-minute walk away, the award-winning 28 HongKong Street beckons you in for a classy night out.
Oh, and getting a room in the vicinity is easy. Just choose from excellent picks like Raffles Hotel, Swissotel, Fairmont Singapore, or the newer, cooler Pullman Singapore Hill Street.
The Theatre at Mediacorp
With stellar acoustics and a capacity of 1,541, this theatre has hosted everyone from Drum Tao to The Addams Family to the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre. Coming to see Elijah Woods perform in August? It’s situated on Mediacorp Campus, just a 10-minute walk from one-north MRT station.
The kid-friendly Café Melba, featuring a menu of pizza and sandwiches, is a delicious choice close by. Alternatively, dine near the MRT. Get a table at Ristorante Pietrasanta for laid-back Tuscan food or do a fuss-free dinner at one of the best burger places in town, One Fattened Calf.
To keep the vibes going after the show, enjoy live music performances, light bites and a cold pint at Timbre+ One North.
If you’d like a peaceful stay in the area, check out apartment-hotels Citadines Science Park Singapore or lyf one-north Singapore.
Pasir Panjang Power Station
Formerly a power station, this heritage building is now a venue for concerts, indie festivals and fashion shows. Names like Jamie xx and Foster the People have played here, while electronic music act Boris Brejcha will perform in May. You can get here via a 10-minute walk from Labrador Park MRT station.
For dinner before the show, dine amidst lush greenery at Knots Café & Living, a place that blends your dining experience with flowers and furniture. Looking for something casual and affordable? Get your spice fix at Super Thai by Soi Aroy.
Afterwards, jump in a cab to art enclave Gillman Barracks for drinks at bikers’ haunt Handlebar or Ida’s, a new alfresco bar by a floral studio.
Right by Pasir Panjang Power Station is Labrador Villa, a restored 1920s building that takes you back in time. Outdoor enthusiasts, you’ll love that it’s near Labrador Nature Reserve’s quiet walking trails.
