001 is one of Hong Kong’s earliest speakeasies – and still one of the best. Half the battle is finding it amid the hustle and bustle of the city’s Graham Street Market. With no signage and entry only at the bar’s discretion, it can seem like a major hassle until you slip inside, try the legendary Earl Grey martini in brilliantly laid-back surrounds, and realise it was well worth the effort. Occasional live music adds to the vibe.
