Goulds Book Arcade

Now in Newtown, family-owned Goulds has been a gold mine for bibliophiles since 1989. The space is massive, but don’t expect any semblance of order. The shop is filled floor to ceiling – even along the staircase to the second floor – with thousands of stacked books. Many are second-hand or leftovers from publishers’ stock, so expect everything from paperback mysteries to hardcover encyclopedias.
