Staying connected while you’re soaring at 30,000 feet is easy with Singapore Airlines (SIA). Whether you’re flying Economy Class, Premium Economy Class or any other cabin class, you can now enjoy free in-flight Wi-Fi on most SIA flights*. Watch this new video to find out how you can get connected on your flight.
How to connect to in-flight Wi-Fi
Once the aircraft reaches cruising altitude, follow the steps below to get connected easily:
- Select the KrisWorld network
Upon selecting the network, the Wi-Fi portal should launch automatically. If that doesn’t work, navigate to kw.sq.com on your browser.
- Connect to a plan
Next, select complimentary Wi-Fi or purchase a price plan and you’re ready to browse.
Customers flying Suites, First Class, Business Class or PPS Club members can connect up to three devices**. Customers on other classes can connect a single device at a time, with the flexibility to switch devices.
How to get the best out of in-flight Wi-Fi
To make the most of your in-flight connection, switch on low data or low power mode, turn off automatic updates and media downloads, close any apps you’re not using and avoid data-heavy activities like gaming or file transfers.
Please note that in-flight Wi-Fi does not support streaming, voice or video calls, VPN usage, software updates or cloud applications.
Having trouble connecting?
If you’re having issues accessing the Wi-Fi portal, go to your Wi-Fi settings, click “Forget This Network”, and reconnect to the KrisWorld network. You may also clear your browser history and cache to remove any stored data or expired internet sessions from your device.
Alternatively, you may also use a private browser (or Incognito mode) to access kw.sq.com as this prevents the browser from tapping into your history and cached data.
If your device is equipped with a VPN (Virtual Private Network), ensure this is switched off when connecting to the in-flight Wi-Fi.
More details can be found in the in-flight Wi-Fi card in your seat pocket, as well as in the infographic below:

Surf the web (and more!)
Now that you’re connected, feel free to message, email, surf the web (here are some ideas for you) and check your social feeds. Keep in mind, in-flight Wi-Fi doesn’t support streaming, voice/video calls, VPN, software updates or cloud services. Also, in-flight Wi-Fi speed differs from ground networks – factors like satellite coverage, regulatory restrictions, weather conditions and the number of concurrent users may affect your experience.
*Please note: in-flight Wi-Fi is available on most SIA flights, except on Boeing 737-800 NG. Customers departing from or arriving in Europe or India on Airbus A380, A350-900 Medium Haul aircraft and selected Boeing 777-300ER may experience intermittent Wi-Fi connectivity due to regulatory restrictions.
