Moga
The energetic modern izakaya of Pullman Singapore Hill Street
Inspired by 1920s Japan, Moga is a sleek speakeasy-style bar that serves craft cocktails and Japanese whiskies alongside loaded sushi and robata grills. Located out of sight behind a discreet sliding door in the hotel’s ground floor, the high-spirited watering hole is an escape from the bustling Stamford Road.
Designed by head mixologist Marcus Liow with bar consultant Dario Knox, the signature tipples like Lost in Translation thoughtfully feature Japanese ingredients such as Nikka Coffey Malt whisky, kinako (roasted soy bean flour) and miso. The cocktail-friendly bites are big and bold-flavoured; the Moga Samurai Roll, packed in with prawn tempura, hamachi and avocado is slathered with sriracha and yuzu aioli.
Visiting bartenders pop in for one-night-only guest shifts from time to time, so keep an eye on their socials for updates.
