Pinacoteca di Brera

Behind the imposing baroque façade of Palazzo di Brera is one of Italy’s most precious collections of art with a high concentration of masterpieces by Renaissance artists such as Raphael, Caravaggio and Piero della Francesca. Among the 20th-century art in the collection are works by Picasso and Modigliani. The pleasant and peaceful Brera Botanical Garden backs onto the gallery building.
