Hidden in the 600-year-old former Songzhu Temple, down an alley to the east of Jingshan Park, TRB Hutong is not the easiest restaurant to find, but the effort will be well rewarded. Surprisingly for this historic location, the cuisine is contemporary European with one Michelin star and served in a variety of six-course tasting menus. This dining spot is as ambitious as its pricing; lunchtimes are more affordable.
