Frankfurt Zoo

Dating all the way back to 1858, Frankfurt Zoo is among Europe’s oldest zoos, though, at about 13 hectares, it’s far from being the largest. It is, however, home to around 450 different species, from bonobos and birds to tigers and aardvarks. The zoo also provides a respite from the bustle of the city.
