It’s common knowledge that the majority of the cult hit Lost in Translation was filmed in and around this swanky hotel. Whether reliving scenes from the film in the picturesque jazz bar or indulging in the luxury spa, visitors will find no shortage of things to do at this five-star bolthole. It’s also just a short walk from glitzy Shinjuku and its famous landmarks such as the Kabukicho nightlife district and the immaculate Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

Note that the hotel is suspending operations from May 7, 2024 for property-wide renovations. It is slated to reopen in autumn 2025.
