Potager
Kuala Lumpur’s latest fine dining darling by acclaimed chef Masashi Horiuchi
Just opened in late 2023, Potager is already making waves with its winning combination of French technique, Japanese precision and beautiful local produce. Available as a five- or nine- course set, their latest tasting menu showcases the quality of regional ingredients such as Sabah ox-tongue and sawara (mackerel) and Semenyih guinea fowl, alongside the crowd-favourite white corn from Cameron Highlands. A vegan menu is also available, for those who don’t partake in meat.
The restaurant itself, situated in the leafy Bamboo Hills compound a short drive away from the city centre, provides an idyllic backdrop against which to unwind. There’s even an open-air garden that lends well to photos if you arrive before sunset; just don’t try to traverse those rocks in heels.
