Römerberg

With half-timbered façades and the crow-stepped gables of the medieval Römer building looming large, the central square of Römerberg is perhaps the most picture-perfect backdrop in Frankfurt. Though it looks every inch the historical town square, much of it is the result of post-war reconstruction.
