Tadioto’s owner is former National Public Radio commentator Nguyen Qui Duc, who writes, paints, curates, designs and thus attracts a full range of Hanoi’s erudite thinkers to this chic and cosy spot. Local creatives come for Tadioto’s mellow, cultured tunes, the rustic décor with objets d’art, lanterns and abstract paintings, and also for the finest whiskeys, wines and cocktails – not to mention the full sushi counter. Tadioto also occasionally hosts poetry readings, art exhibitions and experimental music nights.
