Want to get your K-drama fix while flying on Singapore Airlines? Or are you looking for laughs from Korean variety shows? You’re in luck — we’ve got fantastic offerings to keep you entertained.

K-dramas had a bad rep in the ’00s. Often dismissed as soapy trash back then, they were frequently the stuff of parody. But they’ve come a long way since then and are now firmly entrenched in global pop culture. K-dramas are no longer consigned to the romance genre; now, they span everything from thrillers and melodramas to good ol’ rom-coms.

For those who are swept up in the hallyu craze, catch these K-dramas, movies, and variety shows on KrisWorld.

Moon River
Crown Prince Lee Kang (Kang Tae-oh) has spent five long years mourning the wrongful death of his wife, burying his grief beneath a life of luxury while quietly plotting his revenge.

His world shifts when he meets Park Dal-i (Kim Se-jeong), a street-smart merchant with memory loss and an uncanny resemblance to the late crown princess. Drawn together by circumstance and mystery, the two grow closer through a series of twists and turns … until one fateful accident leaves them waking up in each other’s bodies.

What sounds like a playful gimmick quickly becomes something more. Forced to live each other’s lives, Lee Kang and Dal-i begin to see beyond status and identity, even as fragments of Dal-i’s past start to resurface.

At its heart, Moon River is a story about fate, grief, and second chances — about two souls, bound by something deeper than memory, slowly finding their way back to each other.

Adapted from the webtoon The Deluxe Taxi, the SBS smash has become one of Korea’s most consistent action hits, blending high-octane stunt work with investigative elements. No Other Choice
What if job hunting became a blood sport?

In this Golden Globe-nominated dark thriller from Park Chan-wook, a laid-off salaryman decides that if the corporate world is survival of the fittest, he’ll simply start by eliminating his competition — literally. Lee Byung-hun delivers a chillingly controlled performance as Yoo Man-su, a man whose identity is inseparable from being the breadwinner, and who begins to unravel when that role is stripped away.

Adapted from Donald E. Westlake’s novel The Ax, the film starts out almost like an over-the-top comedy before spiralling into something far more unsettling. Each calculated move chips away at Man-su’s morality, revealing how desperation can lead to monstrous actions.

By turns provocative and funny, No Other Choice slices into corporate culture with Park’s signature precision.

Salon de Holmes
The heroes at the heart of Salon de Holmes don’t look like your usual detectives. In fact, they’re far cooler.

Blending elements of mystery, comedy, and thriller, the show follows four very different ajummas (middle-aged women) — a keen-eyed former detective, a confident, savvy amateur sleuth, an insurance investigator, and a part-time-job worker with a nose for trouble — who band together to investigate suspicious incidents in their apartment complex.

They form a detective club and face off against everyday villains, including cheaters and illegal trash dumpers, before they start tackling more sinister cases. Each woman brings their own strength, from sharp intuition to practical street smarts, and together, they uncover truths others overlook. They prove that, sometimes, regular people can serve justice and make a difference, if they just possess the right can-do spirit and never back down.
