And K-dramas are no longer consigned to the romance genre; now, they span everything from thrillers and melodramas to good ol’ rom-coms.

For those who are swept up in the hallyu craze, catch these three K-dramas on KrisWorld that will draw you in with their unique blend of compelling characters and intricate settings.

Good Partner

Written by Choi Yu-na, a divorce lawyer, Good Partner follows two — you guessed it — divorce lawyers. Prickly star lawyer Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Na-ra) takes rookie lawyer Han Yu-ri (Nam Ji-hyun) under her wing as her new partner and mentee, and they begin to form a bond and learn from each other.

Eun-kyung teaches Yu-ri the tricks of the trade she has gained over her 17-year career, while the latter gets her mentor to open up more. Because of Choi’s background, the show possesses authenticity as it delves into sensitive topics and issues in its ‘case-of-the-week’ episodes. Expect a variety of cases that deal with anything from affairs and custody battles to domestic violence and abuse.

Wedding Impossible

Na Ah-jung (Jeon Jong-seo) has finally got the biggest break in her acting career. After years of playing background characters and small roles, her childhood friend of 15 years offers her the role of the main female lead. The guise? She has to pretend to be his girlfriend and enter into a marriage contract with him for three years.

The truth is that Lee Do-han (Kim Do-wan) is secretly in the closet, and his family doesn’t know. Not even his brother Lee Ji-han (Moon Sang-min), who would much rather Do-han marry Yoon Chae-won (Bae Yoon-kyung) and take over the conglomerate, LJ Group.

Unable to accept that his brother is getting married, Ji-han decides he’ll be the one to break them apart by making Ah-jung fall in love with him, and hijinks ensue when he’s the one who starts falling for her instead.
